My Review:

This is a wonderful book filled with so much storytelling.  There are several different plots weaved into one great story.  I really have enjoyed all of Shelley Shepard Gray's books.  The characters are always full of life and relatable.  Although this is the second in the series, you could read this one alone.  Of course, reading them in order is always more fun as you get to "check back in" with older characters.  I definitely look forward to the next one in the series!

My Review:

Cindy Woodsmall writes incredibly engaging and entertaining stories.  This is one more.  I love reading Amish novels that are part of a series.  It definitely is more enjoyable when you have read the others in the series, but the books do stand alone just fine.  You always get other sides to the characters when they are part of a series and I love that they continue to make little appearances.  This is a great story filled with the usual drama and excitement.

My Review:

Most of the time, secrets are not good.  I am also not very excited about keeping secrets.  I appreciate the truth, no matter how hard it is to digest, being out there.  Throughout this book I wanted to scream for Carolyn Lapp to just tell her secret-to just get it out there!  Of course, she did it in her own sweet time and I really did enjoy the book.  The story is wonderful and a great addition to the series.  The "secret" is really what we deal with more in our Enligh lives rather than what the Amish normally deal with.  That also added much more excitement and anticipation to the story.

My Review:

I love Amish romance novels and this one was great.  I really enjoy that the characters are so full and deal with the same issues and struggles that everyone does.  The way that they deal with those issues and struggles is what I really love.  This book had great characters and a great story line that I could definitely relate to in many ways. 

Cate's dilemna forces her to question many of the situations around her and although I wish she was a bit more trusting I understand why she seems to doubt.  Definitely a great Amish romance with a few little twists and an exciting romance line.
