My Review:

I love all of Becky Wade's stories.  She is such a great storyteller.  Everything is so vivid and realistic... the characters, the setting, the story line.  It usually seems that the man in the story is the one who is trying to get to a woman's heart.  She has usually been hurt and damaged from the past and he has to win her over.  This story is kind of the opposite.  Lyndie has to get to Jake's heart.  

I love stories in this genre because they are romantic and yet not anywhere close to trashy.  They are hopeful and leave you feeling positive after you put the book down.  These are my kind of romantic books and I love reading them all!

About the Author

My Review:

I am completely IN LOVE with this book!  I never could have imagined it to be so great!  The beginning of the book is all about why, how, etc. we should pray for our husbands.  The second part is 30 days of prayers for him.  It is specific in areas: Mind, Eyes, Ears, Mouth, Neck, Shoulders, Heart, Back, Arms, Hands, Ring Finger, Side, Se*uality, Legs, Knees and Feet.  Then there is prayers for Fatherhood and for Healing.  My goal is to do these continuously for the rest of our lives and I'm hoping that soon I will have many of them memorized.  I really appreciate and am awed by this book and how wonderful it is.  It is going to bless many, especially me.  I hope that there is one for children and if not I hope that Jaynes will write one soon!

My Review:

The cover and title of this book were so appealing to me.  The beginning of the book also drags you in.  It starts out with a sad, awful situation that makes you want to read more.  The story line is wonderful and the characters are inspiring.  This is the second book in Hunter's Chapel Springs series.  I have not read the first one, but now I might.  You do not need to have read the first.  I was not confused by anything that went on in this story.  This is an enjoyable read and I definitely recommend it.

My Review:

Out of the books I have read recently, this was one of my favorite.  I love Janette Oke and all of her novels.  This one was definitely wonderful like the rest.  I just want to jump right into the stories and live my life with her characters.  Her characters are so full of life and so vivid.  The women are strong and courageous.  The men are rugged and handsome.  What makes a better story?  Since I can't jump into the story, I happily read them!  If you love Janette Oke you will not be disappointed and if you haven't ever read one of her stories you should definitely check this one out!

My Review:

 This book was really enjoyable to read.  It starts out with a charming romance and leads to so much more!  Mallory, the main character, is wonderful and you can definitely find yourself in her and her thoughts.  This book has tons of romance, suspense and twists and turns.  I definitely recommend it to everyone who likes easy, fun, romantic books!!  I will definitely read more of Lisa's books, especially in this genre!
